There was an issue where the wrong version of the story was uploaded and sent to folks that pre-ordered the novel. The company that translates the novel quickly moved to fix the issue and upload the correct file but there are still a lot of negative reviews on Amazon based on that version of the story. This review is based on the fixed, correct version.
The final book in the Weirdest Noob series is my least favorite in the series. A lot of the novel feels like filler and while some of the plot twists are interesting, the ending feels rushed and disappoints.
Most of the story revolves around Ros, the main character (MC), running from forces that are kill him both in game and in the real world. However, along the way he’s aided by a mysterious force that seems to have been guiding him the whole series. The novel culminates in a big show down between these two forces.
Unfortunately, this showdown is disappointing. It amounts to some magic wand waving from both sides and one just losing for no real explained reason. It’s really a let down.
Overall, while the action, crafting, and adventuring in the novel were good there was just too much filler. Way too much of the story was just the main character thinking about stuff or explaining game concepts that had nothing to do with the immediate events happening around him. If you’re an uber fan of the series you may like the novel but I was a bit disappointed.
Score: 6 out of 10.

The Gods of the Second World LitRPG The Weirdest Noob Book 3 edition by Arthur Stone Mark Berelekhis Mikhail Yagupov Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Not really even sure what I’m reading at this point about 50% through and considering a refund.
Added after redownloading bumped from 1 star to 3 stars
Still some markups and just a ton of repitive game mechanics explanations that by this point don’t matter or are of little interest and build exposition. It got better but not $7 better. It still seems like I missed book 2.5 or something to fill in the gaps, but at least I finished it. Poor end to a good series. No refund warranted, I read It, but that is only to support the author in the hopes that STYX doesn’t suffer the same ignoble end.
While i have enjoyed the 1st two books I found myself skipping over sections of this one constantly thinking to myself BLAH BLAH BLAH get back to the story. The ending left a lot to be desired as well.
Another reviewer said you can skip to chapter 12 and it wouldn't make a difference and I agree. Ros doesn't spend anytime underground, really improving his skills or in any village/city for the first half of the book. Instead he's slowly wandering though the countryside having minimum interactions and spending PAGES AND PAGES over describing the most boring of scenes and events.
The first two books had two flaws that we looked past because we enjoyed the story. The first being the author using the same adjectives to describe everything (noob/weird/etc) over and over. The second being him spending so much time explaining the mechanics of the world and game as if he's telling the story to a older relative that has never used a computer or played video games. Anyone reading the third book in the LitRPG series already know all of this.
One of the biggest disappointments of the book for me is how the author completely skipped over the part where he turns in all the monster/beast discoveries. Ros has been discovering new creatures for 2 and 3/4 books, getting achievement after achievement, with notifications to visit the science building in the capitol to gain his rewards. In a book where the author spends 20 pages describing Ros trying to get across a river and forest, he spends only half a paragraph about something he's been building for the whole series.
I won't even get into how one dimensional every other character is in the series. It's a joke how cliched the villains are.
Very, very sad end to a decent series.
This book should not have been released in its current state. There are many grammatical errors, pieces of repeated content, and even notes left in the book by the editor which have not been removed or fixed. I couldn't make it past the fifth chapter before requesting a refund.
I've been waiting for this book to come out ever since I picked up the first installment of this trilogy, and I have to say I'm so disappointed. Arthur Stone, if you bother reading these reviews, or if the publishers read these, know that your readers are sorely dissatisfied with the abortion of literature you just foisted off on us. I intend on returning this, with or without a refund. I will also avoid preordering anything from this author ever again. You had such a great story and you utterly ruined it.
